Concerning the useless fact Most toilets flush in E-Flat, let no one take offense. I’ll only ramble, tongue in cheek, through the inter-relationships of concepts, words, musical notes, my musically inoperative mind, and the placement of these patterns in the different octaves through a failed musician’s experiential record.

Most toilets flush in E-Flat, made me curious. So much so that I had to hear it in real life; although, I consider myself tone deaf.

As a result, my curiosity made my husband question me if there was anything wrong with the commodes in the house. Why do you keep flushing non-stop? Is there something wrong with the plumbing?

Back before the internet dominated the way in which we find products and services we relied on more conventional means such as; the yellow pages, print advertising and word of mouth. While these are still effective ways to find information, the internet is certainly as effective and in many ways far more efficient.

The major difference between them is; the internet can display hundreds of thousands of search results for a single search. And, although a search engine like Google can give you many relevant results, it makes it hard sometimes to filter through it all and find what you re looking for. The choices are often overwhelming.

How would you like to have a closer relationship with your teen again?

Your ability to communicate effectively with your teen is one of the most precious skills you can develop to achieve this goal.

When we think of communication, we tend to think only of the way we can express ourselves. This is certainly important, but listening is the single most crucial of all communication skills.

As a mother of two teenage boys I know that it isn’t always easy to communicate well with your teen.

I wish you could have seen me play the piano when I was just learning. I was the nearest thing to hopeless that you could imagine. I was into baseball, not music and my heroes were Joe DiMaggio, Mickey Mantle, and Ted Williams. (And by the way, I still have a picture of those 3 guys on my wall.) My dream was to hit baseballs like them, not to play the piano.

But an opportunity to play with a combo presented itself to me when I was a freshman in high school. Seems the piano player of the group had graduated the previous year, and nobody else played piano well enough to play in the school jazz

You have heard the expression many times before if you think college is expensive, you ought to see how expensive ignorance is. While there might be some wry humor in that expression, there should be no excuse for someone not going to college these days. There may be very valid reasons for not going to college, but a lack of financial funding should clearly not be one of those reasons.
